There's been a change in me--
A kind of moving on;
Thought what I used to be,
I still depend upon...

Yep... I came back to semi-activity on DA, I think. At least, I'm going to try to do so.

But this return is not without changes... because, what can I say? I've changed.

Things you can now expect from this DA account:

1. A lot less One Piece.
To quote Dr. Seuss, "I'm sorry to say so, but sadly, it's true." One Piece (including all of the amazing pairings -- and crackpairings; I'm looking at you Beanchan -- I supported, and characters I've loved) will -always- hold a huge chunk out of all the special places in my heart. It was my whole life, basically, for -five years-, and remains the longest-lived stretch of fandom I've ever had the immense joy of experiencing. (Its second-closest rival, Harry Potter, was often broken up by other fandoms in between book releases.) I learned a lot of life lessons from One Piece, believe it or not, and it has absolutely shaped the person I am today. I just can't really see myself being an active fan of One Piece anymore, although I will -never- stop being a passive one. <3

2. A lot more original characters.
I'm really going to be happy, I think, to have a place to share my original characters. Yes, I know, originality doesn't get very far in DeviantArt popularity, but I'm not looking for popularity. My poor original characters just need some creative breathing space, so I'm looking forward to the opportunity to give them that.

3. A lot more fiction (and maybe some fanfiction).
I'm no artist. I never have been. When I draw, it's because I have a visual concept I can't really let go of, and I don't know anyone who will draw it for me. Basically, that's it. But when I write... I write because there are worlds inside, situations and people and emotions that need to get out onto paper, and can't be held in any longer, and I -want- to write and share all of it with others... I have a passion for writing. And now I have a degree in creative writing, so I hate to let it go to waste. Expect some written works, including maybe a little fanfiction, here in the future.

4. A lot less people on my watch list.
I've removed a lot of people. But I've also kept a lot of people. Don't be offended if you were removed; if you really care about keeping in touch despite all of the above-listed changes, let me know, and I'll be glad to add you right back. <3 (Also... I am pretty positive I accidentally removed a couple of people I meant to keep. Like Charli. Are you still out there, Charli?)

5. A lot more doll photos.
I got into ball-jointed dolls; what can I say? I like to show off the better photos I have of them, so you can expect to see a lot of that here--probaby moreso than anything else. If you're okay with this, that's awesome. If dolls freak you out... better to know ahead of time, right? I'll be sure to label them all so anyone who doesn't want to look, doesn't have to.
